However, if you are not completely satisfied with your box for any reason, you can contact us and see if you may be due a replacement box, a full refund or store credit. Please see below for more information on our ‘return’ policy.

Returns:
Because we’re based in China, we’ll rarely ask you to mail back our products. But as a small business looking to give Chinese adoptees a tangible and authentic connection to the culture they were born into, any requests for replacements, refunds or store credit must be reasonable and supported by evidence. Thanks for your understanding!
All issues with our boxes should be reported to us within 10 days of the delivery date.
Reporting Process:
To report an issue with an item, please first email us at info@homelandties.com to let us know what the issue is and provide evidence. This could be a photo or failure to deliver notice. Depending on the issues, and occasionally in consultation with you, the customer, we will decide whether a replacement, refund or store credit is most appropriate.
Refunds:
Upon receipt of your email along with proof of purchase, we will fully examine the condition of your item and notify you via e-mail the eligibility of your refund. If eligible for refund, please allow at least 15 days from the receipt of your email to process your refund. We will notify you by email when your refund has been processed.
Partial refunds will be given if items are missing from your box.
Exceptions:
Edible items: While every effort is made to protect the contents of your box, snacks and edible items can be damaged in its journey from China to the US. We ask you to be understanding of this. However, please do contact us if the damage renders the product inedible.
Late delivery: Delays are sometimes an unavoidable part of international shipping. We try to get your box to you within the estimated timeline every time, but this won’t always be possible. However, if you need to guarantee receipt by a certain date let us know and we can offer alternative shipping – this may require a shipping surcharge.
